Brianne Grogan Interview – Author of ‘Lady Bits’

Oooooh another fabulous interview for you with one of the MOST heart-centered professionals working in the field of Women's Wellness that I know and have had the pleasure of spending time with.  Dr. Brianne Grogan is the author of 'Lady Bits'.......the tag line is 'understand your body, elevate your health and reclaim your spark naturally' and this book truly delivers a message of empowerment through education in a factual but truly accessible and non-textbook (bore you to tears) manner.  It's deep enough for a professional to gain some great knowledge-bombs from but also empathetic enough for a member of the general public....any woman of any age, to access and receive vital information delivered in a heartfelt and easy to digest manner.

I love her vibe, her womanly wisdom and overall the way that Brianne walks the talk when it comes to truly luxuriating in her feminity and encouraging all of those whose lives she touches to do so too.  This book is an ode to female health and wellbeing but on a truly 'whole-woman' and 'whole-life' level.  From your menstrual cycle to 'where your mojo went' :-), radiant ageing  to practising deep self-care, bringing-sexy-back, to up levelling your nutrition....she's got it covered and for me it's one of those, 'perpetually on the nightstand' books that is devoured once and then continually dipped into over and over again.  I hope you enjoy the interview and gain inspiration from Brianne because for sure, she inspires me to bring my 'woman-game' to the very front and centre of all I do and am in this world and that's just got to be a great thing 🙂

Brianne's Biography

Dr. Brianne Grogan, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy originally from Portland, Oregon. Inspired by her own pregnancy and postpartum struggles, Brianne chose to specialize in the field of women’s health physical therapy with an emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders. In 2009 Brianne left the traditional role as a clinician and started her own fitness revolution, FemFusion Fitness. She does not believe in “one size fits all” diet and exercise plans, but stands by her motto: for vibrant health, eat clean, and move every day. Brianne's new book, Lady Bits, is now available in digital and print.

Great interview!! Both you & Brianne did a fabulous job! Would love to see you interview Katy Bowman so that she could explain all this from a biomechanical perspective. She talks alot about the role of the hamstrings in pelvic floor disorders along with more natural movement (i.e. walking) in proper alignment. Here’s a taste of what she writes about – http://www.katysays.com/a-users-guide-to-hamstrings/

I am an RN who has been doing pelvic floor therapy for 15+ years.

I am interested in your certification. I am in the US. What CEU’s would I receive and how much does it cost in dollars.

I enjoy this website. Thanks, Sandie McCarthy, RN
